Frequently Asked Questions

Why is C360 the most popular brass grade for fasteners?

C360 has a 100% machinability rating — the reference standard for all other metals. Its lead content acts as a chip-breaker during machining, reducing tool wear and enabling high-speed production of precision parts.

Is C360 brass RoHS compliant?

Standard C360 contains 3% lead and is not RoHS compliant. For RoHS applications, RKIC Group offers C260 or C270 lead-free alternatives. Contact our technical team for guidance.

What sizes are available in C360 brass fasteners?

C360 brass fasteners are available from M2 to M36 in metric and #2 to 3/4" in UNC/UNF thread sizes. Custom sizes are available on request.
